Colors

Sandy Skoglund " Fresh Hybrid " 2008

Sandy Skoglund used many bright colors in this picture and they all flow together yet they stand out at the same time. I like the contrast between the colors because there are bright colors but there are also darker colors. The colors are very affected in the way that they just pop out at you. The colors are all some type of blue or green except for the yellow. She used very odd colors for the people who are fake. She made them a yellowish orange color. There are soft colors surrounded by very bold colors and they just make the brighter colors stick out even more. If the color scheme were to change it would take away from the whole picture. The picture wouldn't be as wild and it wouldn't flow as good. I think the colors make the picture come to life. http://www.sandyskoglund.com/
